bitter magnet

ok i just ordered about $130 worth of merchandise from rei-outlet.com i used a 15% off coupon, and essentially everything i got was 50% off or more. i got a camelbak for $17 (i got one for michael too), and hiking shoes for $33. i got a bunch of stuff for my bike and some exercise clothes as well. oh, and the main reason i went to rei-to get decent pair of gloves! after lengthy consultation with michael (since he's canadian he's an expert on cold-weather gear) i decided to get these marmot cross-trainer gloves for $30. yeah i know that's a lot to pay for gloves, but 1) orig price was $59 and 2) marmot is supposedly a good brand and 3) if they do their job and stop my fingers from getting frost bitten then it's worth it.

so yay, i get to expect another package in the mail. :) i won't get it until halloween or so (shipping will take a while) but whatever. no hurry.
